What a fun-filled Seuss Week!
Seuss Week was filled with fun for everyone at JIES! We welcomed many doctors of all kinds to share Seuss stories with our students. Students also had a wonderful time all week enjoying and learning in Seussville in the media center. We had word building contests, used our senses to explore slime or Oobleck, and used our creativity to express the many colors of our days! We even had a special visit from the Cat in the Hat!
To cap off our exciting week - students were rewarded for reading over 65,000 minutes during the month-long countdown to Seuss Week. The reward was voted on here on the website - with more than 1,100 votes it was decided - Mrs. T was eating GREEN SLIME with Sprinkles! Stay tuned for more pictures and video!
