Ms. Jonetta Gregory

I am elated to be a part of the James Island Elementary School (JIES) community. I am entering my twenty-seventh year with Charleston County School District. I have been allowed to serve in many leadership capacities throughout my tenure, but being the principal of JIES is one of the most fulfilling. Moving JIES to the next level with strong academic programs, knowledgeable staff members, and the development of partnerships is a goal that I hope we can achieve. Achieving this goal will take teamwork and a committed partnership between our students, families, teachers, and all community stakeholders. It is my sincerest desire to develop responsible, lifelong learners. At JIES, we are "Beacons to the Future".
