Ms. Jonetta Gregory
Dear James Island Elementary Families,
As another incredible school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank our students, families, staff, and community for making this year so meaningful.
This school year was filled with growth, achievement, and unforgettable moments. From academic successes and family events to performances, celebrations, and everyday classroom experiences, our scholars continued to demonstrate resilience, curiosity, and determination. I am incredibly proud of all they accomplished.
Summer is a wonderful opportunity for rest, exploration, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. While I encourage everyone to enjoy a well-deserved break, I also encourage our scholars to continue learning throughout the summer. Reading daily, practicing math skills, exploring nature, writing stories, visiting local libraries, and engaging in creative activities all help keep young minds active and prepared for the year ahead.
To our families, thank you for your partnership and continued support. Your encouragement and involvement make a tremendous difference in the success of our students and our school community.
As we look ahead to the upcoming school year, we are excited about new opportunities to learn, grow, and continue building a strong school community together.
Have a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back soon and beginning another amazing year at James Island Elementary.
With appreciation,
Ms. Jonetta Gregory
